Furyon have been announced for Bloodstock, you guys excited about the prospect of returning to the UK’s best Metal festival ?

We have been excited since getting announced to play this festival. It has grown into one of the major European and is an Honor to be back .

Yeah Furyon has certainly been stepping up a gear or two since the start of 2012 …… it has certainly become more intense in a good way . We have managed to open a few more doors!

Main stage in a couple of years then ?

We hope so …….

Will you guys be sticking around all weekend ?

We will be there for Saturday and Sunday  …….. Crawling out of a tent with a hangover and on to a stage is not good ….. The Beer tents are too tempting . Saturday we play then let the chaos begin!

Any bands you’re particularly looking forward to ?

Testament, Alice cooper (His show at Download 2011 was amazing) Machine Head and Orange Goblin.

The New Blood stage at Bloodstock CackBlabbath’s first encounter with Furyon. How important is the support and opportunities that BOA gives to unsigned bands to the UK scene ?

Very important. It gives the Band a fantastic opportunity to showcase their material to an audience who can be from all points of the U.K. and abroad .

Since the label release of Gravitas the band’s profile has gone through the roof, I guess you must be happy with the way things are going ?

Yes we have been happy with the progress but we are constantly pushing it more . Never being completely happy can be a good thing…helps push the band along.

Will the band be back to full strength for your BOA set, and if so who’ll be joining Pat on guitar ?

We will be Joined by our friend and Guitar monster Chris Webb ( Ex- Biomechanical/Solsikk )

We last saw you live at Donington, and the sun even came out to greet you. How was Download for Furyon ?

Was such a great experience with a great crowd and we were blessed with good weather. Was great to be thrown in the deep end with an acoustic set .

And what’s next for the band ?

Well we are working on album number 2 . We are hitting Newcastle and Scotland at the start of September and we are looking at a few more U.K dates before the year disappears.
