In one word, sum up the past 12 months for you?
What’s been the highlight of 2014 ?
All the fans that came out to see me on tour.
And what part of it would you rather forget about ?
I really don’t forget about anything or care to. You may not like everything that happened, but it is still part of your life and you have to learn how to deal with it.
Looking back 12 months, do you think you’ve achieved what you set out to ?
I don’t think you can ever achieve everything in one year. There is always something else to do, and that’s what keeps you motivated and able to get out of bed everyday. Motivation is the key to success.
And what’s been the most rock’n’roll thing you’ve done this year ?
Dancing on the bar in Barcelona Spain after a show we did there.
On the live scene, what’s the best gig you’ve been to 2014 ?
Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We played with Joan Jett and it was an amazing concert.
Loads of great stuff out in 2014, what’s your favourite album from the past 12 months ?
I’d be stupid not to say my album, “Entitled” on DC Jam Records.
Right, some questions for your crystal ball…
Looking into your crystal ball, who do you think are going to be the hot bands to watch out for in 2015 ?
Barb Wire Dolls and Teenage Bottlerocket.
And what are your ambitions, where would you like your band to be in 12 months time ?
I want to put out a follow record this year and play 160 shows around the globe.
Nearly done.. If you had one wish for 2015, what would it be ?
Staying healthy and hungry…. That works for me…
Bands nowadays love a good endorsement. For us here at CB we’d like Apple and Haribo, who would be the ideal “commercial partner” for you ?
Tiffany and Gucci.
And, finally, it’s almost resolution time. What promises are you going to make yourself for 2015 ?
I don’t want to change anything. Just keep going in the direction I am heading and stay happy and healthy….peace
