When Tax The Heat first walked onto the stage at the o2 Academy in Sheffield we thought we were in the wrong place.. or maybe they were in the wrong place, either way they didn’t look much like a rock’n’roll band in their sartorially elegant stage attire.
And you now what, you should never judge a book by it’s cover.. or a guitarist by his tweed. The Sheffield crowd were soon bopping along as we were treated to some top notch tunes, including a taster of the upcoming album.
Yep, we really liked Tax The Heat, and they’re definitely a band we want to catch again soon.
Tweed and Velvet are clearly the new Denim and Leather.
